Sir Richard Taylor, five-time Academy Award-winning special effects artist and founder of New Zealand's WETAWORKSHOP, led the creative design and production. Weta Workshop is globally acclaimed for its excellence in visual effects and creative design, providing robust creative support for the museum's immersive experiences. Our team is primarily responsible for producing the majority of the physical themed installations within the venue.

The Abu Dhabi Museum of Natural History, a key member of Abu Dhabi's Saadiyat Cultural District, was designed by Dutch architectural firm Mecanoo and is expected to be completed by the end of 2025. Spanning over 35,000 square meters, the museum is architecturally inspired by a cluster of mountain peaks and aims to enhance public understanding of and engagement with the natural world. The museum will display rare natural history wonders, including the fossil of Tyrannosaurus rex "Stan" and a specimen of the Murchison meteorite, among other valuable collections. We are responsible for the production of 130 special exhibits within the Natural History Museum.
